Meet your Speech-Language Pathologist

Marianne Samuel, MA, CCC-SLP, graduated from Ball State University in 2006.   She began her career in the hospital setting, where she worked with critically ill patients, supervised students and clinical fellows, and helped develop and implement the inpatient FEES (Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing) program. She then transitioned to home health, where she enjoyed working with patients in their most functional setting. More recently, Marianne began working in skilled nursing facilities with a focus on mild cognitive impairments, dementia, and dysphagia.  She owns Adult Speech Pathology of Indiana, LLC, a mobile private practice specializing in providing person-centered, collaborative speech, language, cognition, swallowing, and voice therapy for adults.

She has been a member of the Indiana Speech-Language Hearing Association (ISHA) since 2002, recognizing the importance of advocacy at the state level.  Marianne has served on the ISHA Executive Council as Treasurer, President-elect, and currently President.
